I am a soon to be single mom with 3 children under the age of 5. I left my abusive controlling husband to make my life better without any more beatings. I now live 3 hours away so he cant find me. Because I left I am now having to make ends meet with no end in sight. I left the only vehicle behind because he had it when I left., The state has my children who I am fighting to get back due to my choice of leaving my abusive husband. Everytime he goes to jail he is out within 15 minutes. The states programs can't help me until I get my children back. But I am ordered to get a house, a job, and a vehicle within 2 weeks of my court date. I start a job Wednesday making $2.15 a hour. The state is going to hold child support from my checks since my children are in foster care temporary. How in the world am I to get a home, and pay bills and pay for a vehicle at less than minimium wage? I need help bad. I never ask for help, but this is a real life crisis I can't fight on my own without help?? Jennifer

I am 26 years old. I have 3 children ages 5,4, and 2 years old. 3 Weeks ago I left my husband that abused me, mentally, physically, and verbally for 7 years. Because I left trying to get myself together the state took my children who I am trying to get back.. That state took my children while I was in a shelter. I moved 15 miles away to live with my parents. Well that was too close. I had him arrested. I am scared that he will find me and kill me someday. Because of living to close, I now moved further away to live with family who has a family of their own. My sister has 1 vehicle and 2 children. I cant get a job due to having to travel 3 hours 3 days a week for counceling and visits with my children. If her vehicle breaks down, then she will be without and I will be the one blamed. I will always live in fear of my husband. I have not got to file for divorce yet, due to no money and no job. My family is not wealthy but wealthy with their hearts. Everywhere I go I put someone at risk of being hurt by my husband because he is determined to find me. I am in desperate need to get a vehicle so I can get a job, and get a house and get my kids and get away from him. I know I will have to see him because of our children but I fear everyday for my life. I have never asked for help. I have always gave all my life and never expected anything. I just think I deserve a happy life and for my children to never see their mommy being abused by their daddy who they love so much.
